The Fort Wayne Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America is located at 17100 Griffin Rd, Huntertown, Indiana. Since the establishment of the Izaak Walton League of America in 1922, the organization has been dedicated to promoting practical solutions to the most critical conservation challenges facing America’s natural resources at the local, regional, and national levels.
The Fort Wayne Chapter was chartered in 1924 and formally incorporated in 1941. For over a century, the Chapter has remained committed to conservation, outdoor recreation, education, and community involvement. The Chapter relies entirely on the dedication of its members, whose volunteer service provides invaluable leadership, support, and stewardship of the organization and its mission. The Fort Wayne Chapter is solely operated through the volunteer hours and commitment of its membership.
Situated on approximately 280 acres of pristine natural landscape, the Chapter provides an extensive array of outdoor recreational opportunities designed to serve a diverse community of outdoor enthusiasts. Members and guests can enjoy hiking, primitive camping, fishing, archery, and a variety of shooting sports in a safe and welcoming environment.
